Going The Distance Together is a 24-hour endurance walk to be held on the track at Martin Luther King, Jr., Technology Academy on Friday, September 18, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Saturday, September 19, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. It is designed to draw attention to the dramatic impact of generational fatherless in the inner city of Sacramento. This is Shoulder To Shoulder’s inaugural walk for fatherlessness youth and will become an annual event. Read more.
Our Goals Are Simple
We encourage men to mentor fatherless young men and encourage women to serve single mothers in Del Paso Heights. We want to raise financial support for Shoulder To Shoulder’s initiative, Freedom Hall, which is dedicated to preparing fatherless young men for life and supporting their single mothers. Read more.
